Dave

I’m a super psyched climber, alpinist, and skier.  I love nothing more than questing into the unknown.  I’ve travelled the world and experienced some of the best climbing and skiing there is, and I’m still thirsty for more.  I’ve spent the last 30 years having adventures, with trips and expeditions to Pakistan, Kyrgyzstan, Greenland, Antarctica, Alaska, USA, Canada, New Zealand, and Australia. I’ve also explored Europe extensively in particular France, Switzerland, Italy, Austria, Norway, and Spain. I especially love climbing on the sea cliff of the British Isles, the granite walls of Yosemite and the European Alps, and of course skiing fresh POW!

I have guided and instructed since completing my first qualification in the late 90’s, and worked at Plas Y Brenin, the National Outdoor Centre between 2008 and 2020, as the Head of Rock Climbing and Mountaineering, working alongside a ultra experienced team to run the training and assessment of the top level qualifications in the UK.

I am a IFMGA Mountain and Ski Guide as well as a Summer and Winter Mountaineering Instructor (WMCI).

I am as psyched about guiding and teaching as I am about doing it myself, and I love seeing people challenged and achieving their goals.
